Atmosphere 100 Lagu Heavy Metal Terbaik Sepanjang Masa

Hallowed Be Thy Name telah dinobatkan Korando sebagai lagu Heavy Metal Terbaik Sepanjang Masa. Lagu dahsyat ini ditulis oleh Steve Harris untuk 1982 Iron Maiden Album The Number of The Beast . Lagu ini juga telah direlease ulang dengan versi yang berbeda oleh 15 grup musik dunia seperti Dream Theater, Machine Head, Cradle of Filth and Brown Brigade. Sampul album dari versi live yang direkam pada tahun 1993 menggambarkan Bruce Dickinson yang tertusuk dari belakang oleh Eddie, dalam bentuk setan Ide yang sama Eddie membunuh vokalis berangkat sebelumnya telah digunakan di sampul dari rilis Venezuela Maiden Jepang (dengan dia memegang kepala terpenggal dari Paulus Di’Anno ). Tema ini juga digunakan selama pertunjukan perpisahan Bruce Dickinson, selama konser Raising Hell. Saat itu Illusionist Simon Drake , tampakmembunuh Dickinson dalam sebuah perangkat penyiksaan iron maiden
 
Lagu juga telah dirilis sebagai album singel dari album 1993 A Real Dead One dan The Best of the Beast, dan telah menjadi bagian kehidupan musik Iron Maiden. Band ini merekam versi baru dari lagu ini pada tahun 2006 dan digunakan sebagai sisi B pada album “Different World”. Iron Maiden juga merekam lagu ini sebagai bagian dari EMI ‘s serial televisi’ Live dari Abbey Road ‘.Single ini juga dirilis sebagai 45 merah rpm (7 “) vinil.
